Widnes Vikings second rower Shane Grady marked his return from injury with a try in a 36-6 victory over Oldham on Sunday.
The fixture was also the forward’s second debut for his hometown club after making the move to the DCBL Stadium during the off-season.
Grady suffered a season-ending injury in 2019 while at Halifax, but is now back in action in black and white after putting in a solid display at Bower Fold.
Shane spoke at full-time about his pride in being back in Widnes colours, while also looking ahead to next weekend’s visit of Batley Bulldogs.
