STORY OF THE GAME

In very hot, balmy conditions down in the capital the Vikings struggled to hold a London Broncos side that was full of confidence and looking to keep their own good run of form going.
The Broncos started brightly and got their first try after only five minutes with Wellington Albert going over near the posts, leaving an easy conversion for Corey Norman, 6-0
The game was then scoreless for over 20 minutes without the Vikings ever really dominating, however Adam Lawton got sin binned and on 29 minutes Marcus Stock got the Broncos second try, again converted by Norman, 12-0.
Vikings were holding on and hoping to get to half time and to get back to a full complement of players but just before the break the Broncos stretched their lead through Whare in the corner and Norman again kicked the conversion. 18-0 at half time.
Following the restart, the Vikings were beginning to play with some speed and started to cause some problems to the Broncos defence. They scored their first points of the afternoon when Olly Davies scored on 44 minutes and Kieran Dixon converted.
Vikings were again pressing the Broncos line when, on 52 minutes a move broke down and Broncos went nearly the full length of the pitch ending with Jordan Williams scoring and Norman converting. 24-6
This seemed to really knock the stuffing out of the Vikings and Broncos again scored, this time through Alex Walker on 58 minutes and Norman again added the two, 30-6.
Vikings did get over the line again, this time Kieran Dixon scoring after good work when the ball was moved to the left. Dixon again adding the two points to make the score 30-12.
This was to be the end of the scoring however from a Vikings point of view and the Broncos took full control of the game adding tries from Whare (68), Bassett (72), Raiwalui (76) and Leyland (80) all of which were converted by Norman leaving the final score at Broncos 52 Vikings 12.
