Owen Farnworth returned to the Widnes Vikings line-up in the 40-16 victory over Whitehaven RLFC on Sunday.
The prop forward had missed the previous fixture with a minor injury, however he came off the bench to produce his best performance of the season in Round 5 of the Betfred Championship season.
Farnworth’s break and assist for Joe Lyons’ first try came at a crucial time in the game, with the scoreline in the balance, helping the Vikings kick-start a dominant second half.
We caught up with the forward, who was voted Sleeptight Beds Man of the Match by supporters, ahead of Sunday’s Challenge Cup tie at home to Swinton Lions.
