Ollie Brookes will make his competitive Vikings debut in this afternoon’s Betfred Championship Round 10 fixture against Sheffield Eagles.
‘Brookesy’, who celebrated his 20th birthday yesterday, progressed through the Academy and Reserves teams at Widnes after joining at the age of 15.
The winger won the Vikings’ Try of the Season competition last year for an effort in a friendly game against Rochdale Hornets.
