Matt Cook will make his Widnes Vikings debut today against Whitehaven, after being named in the club’s 17 for their Challenge Cup Round 2 tie.
Matt joined the club during the off-season having made 279 appearances at the top level, starting his career with Bradford Bull where he won a World Club Challenge.
Spells with Hull Kingston Rovers and London Broncos followed, before heading to Castleford Tigers where he helped the club lift the League Leaders Shield.
