Widnes Vikings winger Ryan Ince has been crowned Sleeptight Beds Player of the Month for March.
Ince, who first joined the Vikings at scholarship level at the age of 15 before going on to make his Super League debut for the club in 2016, scored four tries in as many matches last month.
Having impressed during pre-season, Ince got his chance in the first team following an injury to Ryan Millar and has cemented his spot in John Kear’s side ever since.
He takes the Player of the Month crown from Shane Grady, who received the accolade after a series of stand-out displays during February.
Upon receiving the ward, Ince said: “I’m happy with how I’m playing. Of course I want the team to win first, but when I’m playing and playing well, I’m happy.
“We played four games [in March – Wests and Newcastle, and then Sheffield and Toulouse, which are two different vibes when you’re playing.
“You’ve got to get your head right and come up with a good mentality so you can perform well on the day.”
