Widnes Vikings’ Fan Zone, The Longhouse, will once again be opening before and after Sunday’s home game against York, starting at 10:45am to watch the Women’s World Cup Final.
The club’s Fan Zone has been a big hit with supporters since its launch in May.
On Sunday, there will be a range of pre and post-match activities to keep you entertained, including live music from Echo Beat. There will also be a 25% off sale on all 2023 training wear.
The Fan Zone will take place pre and post-match, in the Sports Hall at the Lowerhouse Lane end of the ground under the West Stand. It will open from 10.45am until kick-off, and then from the final hooter until 7pm.
The full schedule is as follows:
- 10.45 – Longhouse opens with bar open and food available.
- 11.00 – England v Spain kick off – Women’s World Cup Final
- 11.45 – Half time
- 12.00 – Second half
- 12.45 – Final whistle
- 13.00 – Vikings club shop opens
- 13.30 – Music from Echo Beat
- 14.00 – Vikings team announced
- 14.15 – Music from Echo Beat
- 14.45 – Prepare for kick off
