Widnes Vikings got their season off to a flying start with a 12-34 victory at London Broncos on Sunday, with Ryan Ince’s four tries on his competitive return adding to efforts from Olly Davies, Joe Edge and Lloyd Roby to complete an emphatic performance to kick the season off.
Davies crossed first after powering through the London line early on, before Ince scored his first with an acrobatic effort in the corner. Edge got over in the first half as well after a great spot by Roby, who then put it down himself from a Danny Craven break. Ince topped off a brilliant first-half performance with another on the hooter to hand the Vikings a smart lead at the break.
Ince then added another couple of tries in the second half as London struggled to deal with the new-look Vikings side throughout.
