Widnes Vikings can confirm that forward Liam Bent will miss the remainder of the 2023 season after suffering an ACL injury.
Bent sustained the injury to his right knee during a training session in the week leading up to the game against Barrow Raiders.
Scans have since revealed a rupture to his ACL, meaning he will unfortunately be out for the remainder of the Betfred Championship season.
Liam is due to undergo surgery today, and we wish him all the best with his recovery.
