Widnes Vikings have signed former Swinton Lions prop forward Lewis Hatton on a one-year deal.
The move will see Hatton, 25, link up with the Vikings ahead of the 2023 Betfred Championship season.
He made 18 appearances for the Lions last year, crossing four times, and will now reunite with former Swinton team-mate Max Roberts at the DCBL Stadium next year.

In his earlier days, Hatton spent time in the academy setup of both St Helens and Salford.
He also made 34 appearances over two seasons for Rochdale Hornets.
“I’m feeling really lucky to represent a club like Widnes,” he said. “I grew up 10 minutes down the road and played my rugby at Clock Face Miners.
“A lot of the lads who I grew up with spent time at the club, and they couldn’t speak highly enough of it. That was a contributing factor.”

When asked about his goals for the new season, Hatton added: “I like to think I have relatively good fitness for a middle, and I like to play big minutes, where possible.
“I’m looking forward to cracking on with the lads and pushing for a place in the squad.
“I’m hoping to play regular games week in, week out, and hopefully as a team we can push for that play-off spot.”
