Key Information – Batley Bulldogs

All the key information that you need ahead of Sunday’s visit of Batley Bulldogs in Round 2 of the Betfred Championship season.

Ticketing

Tickets for the Vikings’ first home fixture of the season are now on sale from the Club Shop within Widnes Market, which is open Wednesday-Saturday, 9am-5pm.

The Stadium Shop, located at the DCBL Stadium, will also be open from 10am until kick-off on Sunday 9thFebruary for South Stand Tickets and for card payments for North Stand Tickets.

To avoid queuing, supporters are urged to purchase tickets online where possible, and either print at home or use their E-Ticket on their mobile phone to gain access. All online purchases will now see supporters emailed their E-Ticket, with entry gained by scanning the single-use QR code found within the email.

Away supporters can also purchase tickets online by using the code BATLEY2020 to ensure they are seated in the away section of the South Stand. Those unable to purchase online will be required to buy their ticket from the Stadium Shop.

Cash turnstiles will be in operation on the North Stand to reduce congestion at the new Stadium Shop, which will now serve as the club’s Matchday Ticket Office.

*Adults are ages 24-64. Concessions are ages 19-23, 65+ and members of the Armed Forces. Secondary Juniors are those in School Years 7-13, no older than 18. Primary Juniors are those in School Years 1-6. Children in Reception or younger are not required to purchase a ticket and will gain entry for free.

Junior Swaps

Widnes Vikings operate the Junior Swaps system, and all Junior Season Ticket holders from away clubs can gain a free ticket by visiting the Stadium Shop Ticket Office on matchday. All Junior Season Ticket holders of away clubs must present their Season Ticket to receive their complimentary ticket.

Season Ticket Collection

For supporters yet to collect their Season Ticket for the 2020 campaign, all Season Tickets will be available to collect from the Stadium Shop on Sunday. The Stadium Shop is open from 10am until kick-off.

QR Code Leaflets

At all home games during the 2020 season, attending supporters will be given a leaflet containing an exclusive QR code to be scanned on your mobile phone. Behind these codes will be exclusive content and differing offers each week which will only be accessible to those who attend our fixtures. 

Supporters are advised to keep hold of their leaflets, which will also contain squad lists and information regarding upcoming fixture.

On this week’s leaflet, there will also be a coupon for a FREE pie to be used once at any concourse bar, courtesy of new stadium sponsors DCBL to celebrate the start of the 2020 season.

Parking

Supporters are reminded that parking is not available at the DCBL Stadium, with a free stewarded car park located at Caldwell Road, WA8 7JT.

For disabled parking, a limited number of spaces are available on a first-come first-served basis at the DCBL Stadium, while away supporters who require disabled parking are asked to call 0151 495 2250 and ask for Janet, or email janetp@widnesvikings.co.uk.

The DCBL Stadium is also a no-smoking stadium, and the use of flares and/or smoke bombs is not permitted as it will lead to fines being placed against the club from the RFL.
