Your votes mean captain Jack Owens has been chosen as the Vikings’ Player of the Month for April.
Owens has enjoyed a standout month which included two tries in the recent 54-0 home win against Halifax Panthers.
Starting all four of April’s games at centre, Owens also added 14 points with the boot in the club’s 50-10 win at Dewsbury Rams in the 1895 Cup.
The Player of the Month award is calculated using your votes for each Player of the Match. The Player of the Match earns four points, with the players receiving the next highest number of votes earning three, two and one points respectively. Those points are then tallied across the month’s worth of matches to crown the winner.
