Martyn Reilly is now back in full training after completing his rehab for an ACL injury.
Jordan Johnstone does not need surgery on a knee injury sustained in the Vikings’ defeat to York a fortnight ago however the injury will require extensive rehab which will see him sidelined for a number of weeks.
Sam Wilde continues to struggle with a hamstring injury that has kept him out since the Vikings’ win over the Bradford Bulls. He tried running last week but is still in discomfort, he will miss Saturday’s clash with Toulouse.
Warrington duo, Lucas Green and Zac Bardsley-Rowe will also miss this weekend’s game with Toulouse. Green picked up an ankle injury in the Vikings’ defeat to Doncaster on Sunday and is now in a protective boot. Bardsley-Rowe also picked up an ankle injury in training with Warrington on Monday.
Callum Field has now seen the specialist after dislocating his wrist in July, he will not return this season.
Joe Edge has his operation to repair two sportsman’s hernia on Thursday. He will then begin his rehab.
Ollie Brookes continues his rehab from an MCL Sprain but remains several weeks from a return.
Danny Langtree and Nick Gregson both had surgeries on their dislocated shoulders last week and both operations went well.
Nathan Wilde was forced off at Wakefield with a raised heartbeat and was in hospital for three days undergoing tests. Following a consultation with a heart specialist, he is now awaiting a minor operation but naturally will not play again this season.
He has been told he will make a full recovery and everybody at the Vikings wishes him well.
