Widnes Vikings can confirm that Harrison Hansen has left the club and signed for French outfit Toulouse Olympique for the 2020 season.
The 34-year-old joined the Vikings for their Qualifiers campaign in 2018 on an 18-month deal, going on to play 33 times for the club in total while crossing for four tries.
Hansen was part of the team that booked the club’s first Wembley appearance in 26 years, scoring the opening try of the 1895 Cup Final defeat to Sheffield Eagles.
During his short period with the Vikings the second rower surpassed 400 career appearances, becoming a fans favourite at the Halton Stadium as he rarely took a backwards step in both defence and attack.
Widnes Vikings would like to go on record and express their thanks to Harrison Hansen for his efforts throughout his time at the club, and wish him and his family all the very best in their future endeavours.
Harrison was proudly sponsored by West End Motors for the 2019 season.
