Widnes Vikings are proud to celebrate a significant milestone for one of our own, as Learning Disability Super League (LDSL) player Dylan Bunting has earned his first official coaching qualification.
Dylan has successfully completed the 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Coaching Primary Rugby League, a fantastic achievement that reflects both his dedication to the sport and his growing influence within the community.
As well as representing the Vikings in our LDSL and Touch Rugby teams, Dylan plays a vital role in our community foundation. He regularly supports the delivery of sports sessions in local schools, becoming a familiar and much-loved figure among pupils and staff alike.
Simon Fox, Director of the Widnes Vikings Community Foundation, was full of praise for Dylan’s latest accomplishment: “Dylan is a great example of persistence and never letting anything get in his way.
“Achieving his first RFL Coaching qualification is a tribute to his hard work and passion for rugby league. He is very popular in schools supporting our delivery programmes and he does it with such pride and zero fuss.
“Whether he is playing LDSL for the Club or Touch Rugby, his smile never fades. Well done Dylan, everybody at the club is super proud of you.”
Congratulations, Dylan – we can’t wait to see what you do next!
