Widnes Vikings can confirm that the Club Shop, located within Widnes Market, will be re-opening on Saturday 18th July in line with Government Guidelines surrounding Coronavirus.
Initially, the store will only be open on Saturday’s, 9am-4pm, in order to monitor the level of demand for the shop to be open.
If required, further opening hours will be released in due course and will be communicated with supporters via our official website and official social media platforms.
In order to maintain the safety of our employees, volunteers and supporters, there will only be two customers allowed in the store at a time, so that social distancing can be maintained. Also, customers must wear face masks when shopping in the store from Saturday 24th July onwards, as per new Government Guidelines.
Sanitiser will be provided upon entry, and customers are reminded that they should sanitise/wash their hands once they come into contact with their face or eyes and before and after they come into contact with items in the store.
Where possible, our staff have re-arranged the shop in order to allow customers more room when shopping within our store, meaning that maintaining social distancing will be easier.
Please note, staff and volunteers at the Club Shop will not be able to answer any ticketing queries or process any refunds of tickets to games which have been postponed. Once an announcement on the future of the 2020 Betfred Championship season has been made by the RFL, we will communicate all of the appropriate information with our supporters through the club website and social media channels.
As we prepare for the re-opening of our Club Shop, we would like to thank our supporters and customers for their patience in advance, and for adhering to the measures in place to keep everyone safe.
The operation of the store will be different as we approach this unprecedented situation, however our staff will be doing everything they can to ensure that your experience at our Club Shop is as safe and enjoyable as possible.
