As part of the Heritage Numbers project, we are looking for the player still living today with the lowest heritage number.
With more than 150 years of history behind us and heritage numbers stretching back to 1895, there are thousands of stories relating to the club.
You will have seen scores of past players and former favourites receiving their heritage certificates in recent weeks, since the launch of the numbers back in May.
We have had visits from family members of former players, sharing their memories and in some cases the priceless memorabilia in their possession.
Heritage numbers are allocated in the order players made their debut for the club.
Last week, the club visited Tommy Rimmer, who has heritage number 478, making his debut versus Liverpool City on 30th March 1959.
If you know someone with a heritage number lower than that, get in touch with Ste Jones via email stej@widnesvikings.co.uk.
