BRETT BAILEY EXTENDS LOAN STAY WITH VIKINGS

Widnes Vikings are pleased to announce that Brett Bailey will continue with the club on loan for the remainder of the season from St Helens.

Bailey has appeared from the bench in our victories over York Knights and Halifax Panthers this season.

Head Coach Allan Coleman said: “Brett has shown his potential over the few games he played for us. He’s a big body and brings some size to our pack.

“He’s a Widnes lad, you can tell he loves pulling on the jersey, so it was another no-brainer for us.

“We need to be healthy and have a good squad so it was a good move for us as a club to keep Brett with us. I look forward to seeing him in the Widnes jersey.”

Head of Operations Chris Hamilton said: “Brett will offer us more options in the forwards, already showing his promise this season and, like Reagan Sumner with Wigan, we have dual registered him back to St Helens so that he can play for the Reserves if not needed by us.”
