💬 COACH PREVIEW
Head Coach Allan Coleman is hoping to continue the winning run this Sunday against the Parksiders.
Ahead of the game, Coleman said: “I’m expecting a tough game. I went to watch Hunslet a few weeks ago when they played Rochdale, and they were really impressive.
“They put on a big score that day and showcased how talented they are as a team. I know they’ve brought in a few players from Leeds who will no doubt improve them, so it will definitely be a physical battle.”
Looking back on the victory over Goole, he added: “I think it’s always difficult going into games when you’re heavily fancied to win, especially in this competition. I think we’ve seen in the opening few rounds that if you’re not at the races, you can be beaten by anyone.
“I was really happy with the way we played in attack, but I think defensively we have a lot to work on. We weren’t great at restricting their metres and didn’t close out the game the way we should have in those last ten minutes.
“We definitely have some areas to improve on, but overall, I can’t be disappointed with a 30-point win, especially with some of the good stuff we did with the ball.”
