Following the deeply saddening news of the passing of Alan Rae last week, we can confirm the details of his funeral.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday 21st April at 12pm at Widnes Crematorium on Birchfield Road.
Afterwards, all are invited to join Alan’s family and friends at the Stadium from 1.30pm to remember him.
It will be family flowers only at the funeral, but Alan’s family have asked for any donations to be sent to MacMillan Cancer Support.
Alan was Widnes through and through, supporting the club in every way he could through over 70 years’ involvement with us.
