More sad news for Widnes Vikings as we offer our condolences to the family and friends of Bobby Chisnall.
Bobby made 230 appearances, scoring 90 tries for the club over eight seasons between 1959 and 1965. Bobby made his debut for the club against Leigh in March of 1959, with his final appearance coming against Featherstone in October 1965.
Bobby was part of the side that ended the club’s 27-year wait for the Challenge Cup to return to Naughton Park, playing on the wing in Widnes’ 13-5 victory over Hull Kingston Rovers at Wembley.
The thoughts of everyone at the club go out to the family and friends of Bobby Chisnall at this difficult time.
