Widnes Vikings are pleased to announce that Hull KR outside back, Jumah Sambou, has joined the club on a season-long loan.
Sambou joined the Robins ahead of 2026, having made the switch to Super League following a successful spell with Oldham in the Championship and League One.
Hull KR will NOT hold a callback clause, meaning the Vikings will be able to keep Sambou on loan for the whole season without the possibility of him being recalled.
Jumah will be available for selection ahead of this Sunday’s home opener against North Wales Crusaders at the DCBL Stadium.
Head Coach Allan Coleman said: “It’s fantastic to get Jumah in. I think everyone will have seen last year before his injury, he was one of the best centres in the Championship and rightfully earned his move to Hull KR.
”He adds real power and agility to our backline, which gives us some really strong options. To get him for the full season is massive for us.”
