John Kear has named a 23-man squad for Friday night’s trip to Super League champions St Helens.
The match will be the Vikings’ final run-out before the new season begins. It will also serve as Widnes-born St Helens stalwart Mark Percival’s testimonial fixture.
The action takes place at the Totally Wicked Stadium, with kick-off at 8pm.
Will Evans and Josh Johnson are absent from Friday’s squad, while Ollie Brookes, Danny Craven (both hamstring) and Max Roberts (ankle) also miss out.
