2024 CHAMPIONSHIP FIXTURES REVEALED

Our full fixtures for the 2024 Betfred Championship season have been revealed.

Yesterday, it was announced that we will begin the new campaign at home to Barrow Raiders on Sunday 17 March.

The Vikings will also welcome Swinton Lions to the DCBL Stadium in round 2 for a Good Friday clash on March 29, (2pm kick off).

Allan Coleman gave his thoughts on the home clash with Barrow Raiders to start the Championship season, he said: “There’s a lot of good teams in this competition, so it’s great to start at home.

“We’ll be starting the season against Barrow which is a good first test, so the chance to kick off the season at home against them will be great.”

On the Good Friday clash with his former club Swinton Lions, Coleman added: “I thought it was going to be Swinton first, to be honest, it always seems to go that way, but they’ll come here in round 2 for Good Friday and that’s something we’ll be looking forward to.

“We all know what Swinton did here last year, so we’ve got to focus on each game as it comes.

“We certainly can’t argue with being at home twice to start the Championship season, so that suits us with what we want to try and build at home this year.”

The Vikings will make the trip to France in Round 9 to face Toulouse Olympique on Saturday 25 May  (6pm kick off).

The regular season will conclude with a trip to Barrow Raiders on Sunday 29 September (3pm kick-off).

Supporters can purchase 2024 season tickets here. Tickets for each home fixture will also go on sale in the coming weeks.
