Widnes Vikings will host its first ever adult touch rugby festival ahead of the upcoming Betfred Championship fixture against Featherstone Rovers on Sunday 14 May.
The festival will be played on the DCBL Stadium pitch, prior to the Vikings’ first home outing since the mid-season break.
We are currently looking for teams to enter our social touch rugby festival. No rugby experience is required, and teams need to consist of between 6-8 players.
There are two pricing tiers for the event. Below, we have outlined what each package contains…
Option 1: £20 per team
- Pre-match social touch rugby event entry
Each player must also have a valid match ticket to enter the stadium. These are available to purchase by clicking here.
All proceeds from Option 1 will be donated to the Widnes Vikings Sports Foundation, supporting them with the work they do throughout the local community.
Option 2: £35 per person
- Pre-match social touch rugby event entry
- Karalius Suite hospitality for the Featherstone match
- Pre-match meal in the Karalius Suite on a shared table
- Gold seating ticket for the Featherstone match
- Access to a private bar
- Complimentary monthly magazine
- Pre-match Q&A with players and/or guest speaker
Access to the Karalius Suite – two hours pre kick-off
Access to the players’ lounge post-match
With Option 2, a percentage from each entry will also be donated to the Vikings Sports Foundation.
