Ste Roberts caught up with Ste Tyrer to discuss his decision to retire and talk about his three spells at the Vikings.
During his career Ste made 347 appearances including spells at his hometown club St.Helens, Widnes Vikings, Celtic Crusaders, Salford Reds and Halifax. Up until his retirement he was the highest active points scoring player in the sport with 2868 points to his name.
Over his three spells at the Vikings, Tyrer notched up 79 appearances, scoring 46 tries and kicking 242 goals. He leaves the club with a personal points tally of 668.
In his final season with Vikings, Ste scored 112 points in 17 games.
