On this day in 1984, Widnes were crowned Challenge Cup winner for the fifth time, defeating Wigan 19-6 at Wembley Stadium.
Widnes lifted the famous trophy in front of 80,116 spectators in the capital, before bringing the silverware home to Naughton Park.
To this day, the 1984 Challenge Cup winning team are the last from the club to lift the famous trophy, ending a run of seven final appearances in 10 seasons – including four victories.
To mark the 36th anniversary of that brilliant Challenge Cup win, we’re asking you to name the line-ups of both teams from that day.
