Biography

Leeds-born Liam began playing rugby at the age of 9 with the Drighlington club before joining the Scholarship programme at Bradford and progressing through their Academy to make over 80 senior appearances, including the League 1 Grand Final which secured promotion for the Bulls in 2018, before moving on to Oldham and Sheffield. Liam names the support from his parents as the major influence on his career while his career highlight is being part of the Bradford team that beat Leeds in the 6th Round of the Challenge Cup in 2019. 'Kirky's ambition is to take Widnes into the Playoffs, play in the 1895 Cup Final and win silverware. Away from the game Liam enjoys DIY, is recognised as a 'Foodie' and supports Leeds United while he combines his rugby with his job as a steel welder and erector.

How old do I have to be to enter?

You must be aged 16 or over to enter the lottery.

What can I win?

Each week there is a £1,000 jackpot prize. Second prize is a £500 rollover, which if not won, rolls over up to a maximum £5,000 prize. There are also twenty two £10 prizes and twelve £5 prizes. Altogether 36 weekly cash prizes with a weekly prize fund available of £1,380.

Can I choose my lottery numbers?

These are chosen randomly and will be your numbers for the duration of your membership of our lottery. When you enter the lottery, you will be sent your unique numbers.

How do I buy tickets?

You can buy tickets through our website by setting up a direct debit lottery subscription, which is the easiest way to ensure you’re entered into the draw each month. You can also sign up at our Club Shop, located within Widnes Market, which is open Monday & Wednesday-Saturday, 9am-5pm.

Can I have more than one entry?

Yes, you can have as many entries as you’d like. Each £1 entry buys you one ‘chance’ of winning in our lottery. In accordance with our commitment to responsible gambling, we offer a maximum of 20 entries each week per person.

How do I know I am in the draw?

Within 21 days of registration you will receive a confirmation letter and welcome pack which contains details of your unique lottery number(s) and the date of the first draw your tickets are entered into. You will be entered into the draw when you have monies available and you will continue to be entered into the draw as long as you have monies available against your lottery number.

Why does it mention Everton FC when I sign up

Why is there a delay between registration and entry into the draw?

Following registration, it is necessary to complete a number of administrative processes which include verifying your payment details with your bank, claiming the funds from your bank account and the funds being received.

When taking payments Everton in the Community use a secure payments system provided by our Direct Debit provider. This ensures your details are taken in a safe and secure manner when you enter the lottery online.

What happens if I lose connection to the internet while entering?

How long can I play for?

You can play our lottery for as long as you wish. Following successful payment, you will continue to be entered into the draw as long as you have monies available against your number.

How will I know if I win a prize?

Once the draw has taken place, winners are notified by post, and the winners’ names and numbers are published on the Lotto Superdraw website and emailed to your inbox. Please note, winners will not be notified via our social media channels or our club website.

How do I claim a prize?

If you are a winner, we will send your winning cheque straight to you at your address – there’s no need for you to claim.

Biography

Hailing from Caerphilly Rhodri began playing rugby union at the age of 5 with Penallta RFC before taking up 'league' with sister club Penallta Storm at the age of 15 from where he joined the South Wales club where he made his senior debut. He later moved to Wigan, from where he made a brief loan move to Widnes in 2014, prior to spending the last 9 years with Swinton. The Welsh international, who has also represented his country at Under 16 & Under 18 levels and the Great Britain Community Lions, names his Dad and Mr Evans his PE Teacher at Ysgol Cwm Rhymni school as the major influences on his career while his ambition is to enjoy playing and reach the playoffs. His career highlights include representing Wales in 3 World Cups and scoring a try at the Millenium Stadium against Italy. Cardiff City fan 'Rod' also follows the LA Lakers as he combines rugby with his job as a PE Teacher at St Bede's High School in Ormskirk.
