Born in Whiston Danny played his junior rugby with the Blackbrook club before joining the St Helens Academy at the age of 16, eventually making his senior after joining Oldham, where he spent 10 years prior to his move to Barrow in 2022, having also represented Doncaster on Dual Registration. The biggest influence on Danny's career has been his Dad who is also a coach at Blackbrook while his career highlights to date are winning the League 1 championship with Oldham in 2015 and representing his school - St Augustins - in the national schools Cup Final at the Millenium stadium. Voted Championship One Player of the Season in 2014 by Rugby League World his ambition is to have a big impact at the club and 'take it back to where it deserves to be'. Combining rugby with his role in the family transport company 'Langers' is also a supporter of Liverpool FC.
