Job Title– Retail and Ticketing Manager
Salary– Competitive, subject to experience.
Location– Primary base Widnes Indoor Market store, Widnes, Cheshire.
Hours of Work– 37.5 hours a week, including matchdays and club events.
Responsible for– Widnes Vikings – Chief Executive Officer

The Role:
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to join Widnes Vikings Rugby League Club as Retail Manager. The full-time position will be primarily based at the Widnes Vikings shop in Widnes indoor market with some work at the stadium shop and will report to the CEO.
This key appointment comes at an exciting time as the club seeks to enter a period of growth following a disrupted two years. You will be expected to take a proactive approach in managing the retail operation driving increased revenue from retail and ticketing sales for the Club.
The role will be externally facing and you will bean experienced Retail Manager looking for a varied and challenging role where you will maximise sales whilst supporting, developing and empowering the volunteers and club partners as part of the overarching strategy and vision of the club.
The Retail Manager will work to continually evolve and improve the retail and ticketing offer to drive sustained growth in club revenue.
Role Summary:
· Lead the development and implementation of Widnes Vikings’ retail strategy, ensuring detailed planning, communication and associated delivery of agreed online and in store retail initiatives.
· Lead the management and administration of all Widnes Vikings Rugby League clubs retail and ticketing activity.
· Lead by example, enthusiastically and positively managing the volunteer network to support the delivery and achievement of the retail KPI’s.
