The Vikings can confirm that following his recent scan there is good news regarding Kieran Dixon.
“Dicko” does not need an operation on his injured knee but will undergo intensive rehabilitation to ease the symptoms and build up strength in and around the joint. He will, however, still be out for several more weeks.
Sam Brooks continues his rehabilitation from an ankle injury and remains sidelined. We will also be without Will Tilleke for the next few weeks as he has pulled his hamstring in training.
Long-term injury victim Martyn Reilly continues to make progress and has another appointment to see the specialist later this month when he is hoping to get the go-ahead to start some running.
