Widnes Vikings captain Jack Owens talks us through the two tries he scored in our 20-16 victory over Dewsbury Rams, in which he surpassed Andy Currier into seventh place in the club’s all-time point scoring records.
Jack’s first-half try saw him reach the points required for the record, as he broke through after an assist from Matt Fleming with some good work from Matty Smith and Shane Grady helping create the opportunity.
The captain added another in the second half, when he orchestrated the play out to the right to dash past a couple of Dewsbury players and crash over.
