Widnes Vikings interim head coach Neil Belshaw has allowed Wigan Warriors centre Zach Eckersley’s loan to expire, with Matty Fleming now approaching fitness after his recent toe injury.
Eckersley scored five tries in eight matches during his time at the club, and we thank him for his contribution.
Prop Owen Farnworth is also expected to be fit for Monday’s game against Bradford Bulls. Belshaw will select his squad and team after training on Friday night.
On-loan Wigan hooker Tom Forber trained last night and Belshaw said “Tom slotted straight in and looked good. We are looking forward to seeing him play for us.”
