Biography

Born in St Helens Liam played football until the age of 13 when he began playing rugby with the Blackbrook club before joining the Saints Scholarship programme at 14 and going on to captain the unbeaten Academy Championship winning team of 2016. The strong running forward, who joins the Vikings after loan spells with Sheffield, Whitehaven and Halifax, names his father and grandfather – a Widnes supporter –  as the major influences on his career to date. Whilst his career highlight is the signing of his senior contract with St Helens ‘Ronnie’ is targeting a regular place in the Widnes team and promotion back to Super League. Having completed an apprenticeship in the ‘Fabrication of Doors and Windows’ the England Academy Under 16 aims to combine employment in that field with his rugby. Away from the game he supports Everton FC and enjoys walking his dog.
