Kieran Dixon

DATE of Birth       22/8/1992

Born in Hackney, London Kieran began playing both codes of rugby at the age of 13, having been urged by his best friend to try the sport. After first playing rugby league as an amateur with Hemel Stags Kieran’s professional career began with his debut for the then Harlequins club against St Helens in 2012, gaining recognition with England Knights in the same year. A brief return to Hemel during 2014 was followed by a two year stint with Hull KR and a return to the capital in 2017 before ‘Dicko’ spent 2021 with York while 2022 saw him move to Leigh with appearances also made for Rochdale and Widnes. Naming his Super League debut and his appearances for the Knights as career highlights Kieran’s ambition following his return to Widnes after an “enjoyable” loan in 2022 is to play consistently as the Vikings aim for a play-off spot. He starts 2024 just four points shy of 150 for the club while away from rugby the Arsenal supporter enjoys playing golf and cooking.
