Hailing from Wigan, Kenny started playing rugby at 6 years of age with the Ince Rose Bridge club, progressing through the age groups and remaining with the club for 19 years. At the age of 25, Kenny moved into the professional ranks with North Wales Crusaders, where he remained until joining the Vikings ahead of the 2020 season. A member of the England Lions U19 team to tour South Africa in 2011 the Loose Forward names his coach at North Wales Crusaders, Anthony Murray, as the biggest influence on his career to date. Citing the League 1 Cup Final in 2017 as his career highlight his ambition is to prove himself at the highest level possible. ‘Beef’ employed as a Drayman by a Drinks Logistics company, was chosen as ‘Coach’s Player of the Year 2021’ and has an interest in most sports and divides his spare time between the gym, playing golf and following Liverpool FC.
