Widnes Vikings coach Denis Betts must decide whether to recall full-back Rhys Hanbury after dropping him for the defeat at Hull FC or stick with Corey Thompson. Prop Gil Dudson is set to return and Sam Brooks is added to the team in place of the injured Hep Cahill.

Salford Red Devils have forwards Lama Tasi and Josh Jones back while half-back Todd Carney is again included in Ian Watson's squad and looks set to make his debut after being an unused substitute for the win over Castleford Tigers.
