A former pupil of Moorside High School, Swinton and product of Folly Lane ARLFC Harrison was born in Auckland and moved to the UK in 1990 when his father Shane joined Salford. At the age of 15 Harrison joined the Wigan Scholarship programme and went on to play over 240 games for the Warriors before joining Salford, and later moving on to Leigh. In addition to his club career 'H' has also represented England at Academy level, Samoa, New Zealand and the Exiles as he nears 400 career appearances. The former Samoan skipper names the Grand Final win of 2010 and the 'Double' of 2013 as the highlights of his career to date, while he targets an immediate return to Super League with the Vikings and helping to develop the club's younger players. A father of three boys Harrison devotes his time away from rugby to his family and two dogs.
