Biography

Born in Whitehaven Jordan's first experience of rugby league came when he joined the Kells club at the tender age of four before later joining the Cumbria Storm Academy. Whilst with the Storm he spent a month with Widnes in 2014 before making his senior debut during a one month loan with home-town Whitehaven in 2015. The Combined Regional Academy representative signed Academy forms with the Vikings in late 2015, achieving his ambition of playing in Super League along with appearances in the Challenge Cup in 2016.  Uncompromising in defence, and possessing a good running and kicking game, 'JJ' gained considerable 1st Team experience in 2017 and his impressive performances earned him a contract extension to 2019. Now established in the senior squad the Cumbrian's ambition is to win trophies with the Vikings, while away from rugby he follows the fortunes of Manchester United.
