Biography

Born in Brisbane Corey played his junior rugby for Mt Gravatt Eagles and Easts Tigers before joining  Canterbury Bulldogs at the age of 22 . In 2013 he notched 11 tries in 14 outings in the New South Wales Cup and has since scored 15 tries in his 35 NRL appearances, missing just 5 games in the 'Dogs' run to the 2014 Grand Final against the Rabbitohs. A former teammate of Danny Galea Corey was selected for the Queensland Emerging Origin squad, and cites the Grand Final appearance as the highlight of his career so far, while winning a Grand Final, in Super League or the NRL, remains his ambition. Ever-present in 2016 the speedy winger claimed 28 tries, and the first goals of his career, in his debut season for the Vikings, while adding his experience of the NRL to the Vikings quest for success. Away from rugby he enjoys a round of golf.
