Former Heath Technology College student Ted joined his local club Widnes Vikings, along with twin brother Jay, after playing his junior rugby with the West Bank Bears club. 2014 ended on a high for Teddy as he gained 2 caps for England Under 18's against the touring Australians, who described him as a 'colossus' after the second Test. Ted paid tribute to the guidance of the Academy coaches as he combined his work ethic and physical presence towards performing well, targeting a further contract and eventually securing a first team spot. 2015 yielded 2 tries from 21 appearances for Whitehaven as he underlined his potential. The final match of 2016 saw Ted make his Super League debut and he passed 50 senior career appearances during 2017. Away from rugby Ted (known as B2 in training) enjoys playing Tennis, at which he also represented Cheshire, and follows the fortunes of Liverpool FC.
