Former Heath Technology College student Teddy joined his local club Widnes Vikings, along with twin brother Jay, after playing his junior rugby with the West Bank Bears club.

2014 ended on a high for Teddy as he gained 2 caps for England Under 18's against the touring Australians, who described him as a 'colossus' after the second Test.

Teddy paid tribute to the guidance of the Academy coaches as he combined his work ethic and physical presence towards performing well, targeting a further contract and eventually securing a first team spot.

2015 yielded 2 tries from 21 appearances for Whitehaven as he underlined his potential. The final match of 2016 Teddy make his Super League debut having taken his total appearances for Whitehaven to 45. He has gone on to establish himself as an important member of the Vikings first team squad. 

In 2017, Ted has gone onto make 6 appearances for the Vikings first-team, impressing on everytime he has took to the field. Ted has also been on dual-registration at Bradford Bulls, making 6 appearances, scoring twice.

Away from rugby, Ted (known as B2 in training) enjoys playing Tennis, at which he also represented Cheshire, and follows the fortunes of Liverpool FC.

In June 2017, Ted signed a new deal with the Club, underlining the Vikings' intention to retain their young stars for the future.
