Oldham born Eamon made his senior debut for Wigan in 2006 at the age of 18 having joined their Academy from the Waterhead club. By 2008 he was a regular in the Warriors side and represented Ireland in that year's World Cup. A season-ending foot injury just six matches into 2009 limited his opportunities at Wigan and he moved on to Hull FC in 2012 before later joining the Vikings in June of that year. After scoring on his Widnes debut Eamon suffered a season-ending injury just two games later, but recovered to miss just 3 games in 2013, pass 100 senior club appearances and play for Ireland against Fiji in his second World Cup but sustained a further shoulder injury. Despite recent seasons being interrupted by injury Eamon has clocked up 142 career appearances of which 134 were in Super League, and will be looking forward to a healthy 2017.
